Delivery & Installation Information
So what's installation going to cost?
On our website you can add on installation, disposal and packaging recycling to your order. The prices for these services vary depending on what the product is. To view options available to you follow the below steps:
- Find the product you want to purchase and click Add to Basket
- You will then be asked to enter your postcode. Please note that not all our services are available UK wide so you will need to enter a postcode before continuing to the checkout
- In the Basket the additional installation, disposal, packaging recycling and available extended warranties will appear. Simply tick the additional services your require.
- Built In / Integrated appliances.
Built in items are more time consuming to install and often require our joiner to make sure the job is done just right, so we price this service separately. If you have your own fitter we will co-ordinate delivery from our warehouse on the day of installation.
- Gas cookers.
We organise a gas fitter to be on-site with our delivery team to ensure installations are carried out in accordance with Gas Safe guidelines. The gas fitting fee is payable direct to the fitter and we only use local reputable fitters. If you have a plumber you have used before and are happy with then we can liaise with them to make sure the installation goes like clockwork. We will still recycle your old cooker free of charge and remove any packaging.
- Recycling Charges.
A small transportation charge of £20.00 is payable for the recycling of old appliances.
- What does local mean?
If you live within 10 miles of one of our stores you are local to us. On the map below if you fall within the highlighted area then delivery costs are all included in the price you see. We do deliver further afield – please contact us for a quote.
FITTING OF APPLIANCES:
Our local fitting service on washing machines and dishwashers (freestanding) shall be carried out only to existing plumbing which is safe and free from leaks. Connection pipes and electrical sockets must be no further from the appliance than 1.1m as we do not undertake any extra plumbing/electrical services and extension of plumbing utilities. Any leaks from frail or brittle pipe work shall be pointed out to the consumer before the fitting takes place. We do not hold ourselves responsible for floods or leaks before or after we leave the premises. All wet appliances are water tested by our installation team at point of installation and if there are any issues at the time of installation then this will be pointed out to the consumer. In the event of your pipe work not being appropriate and safe to disconnect we will not continue the fitting service. We do not refund the fitting charge as time is allocated to every job. You do not have the right to refuse the appliance due to a failed installation. Faults on pipework and electrical faults on sockets are the customers responsibility to make safe before our team arrive at the premises. Re-delivery charges apply if we are asked to return to complete a fitting service which previously couldnt be completed due to inadequate pipework, electrics etc.
All wet appliances are water tested by our installation team at point of installation, if there are any issues at the time of installation then this will be pointed out to the consumer. Once we have left the property we are not held responsible for any leaks or floods that may occur.
